The Story behind Kappatalize Wellness


Kappatalize Wellness was started by Helen Reed in 2011, where she ran holistic fitness classes and helped thousands of people transform their approach to their health and well being.


Her fitness classes were run in the local parks and beaches of the St George and Sutherland Shire regions in the South of Sydney.

Helen continued to expand her love for learning, and evolved into connecting each of her experiences as a Master Group Fitness Trainer, Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Health Coach and combined this with her professional experience as a change consultant to drive results and shifting mindsets.

Helen then flowed into the world of mindfulness, yoga, and meditation - a personal journy of self discovery that spans over 15 years. Helens journey has been and will continue to be a profound odyssey of connecting with herself, cultivating self-love, acceptance, compassion, and kindness. This part of her journy began when she confronted her struggles with anxiety and seasonal depression, realizing she had lost touch with herself and the life she wanted to lead. Opting for a natural path over medication, Helen embarked on a challenging yet deeply rewarding journey of healing and growth.

This journey led her to study Mindfulness and Meditation under a Buddhist monk for three years, becoming a qualified Yoga Teacher (YTT), Breathwork Coach, and Circle Facilitator. Over the past five years, she immersed herself in the practice of Tantric Yoga, eventually becoming a certified Tantra Embodiment teacher in 2023.

She found that connecting body, mind, soul and spirit helped people not only manage their physical health and wellness, however their emotional, mental and psychological wellness.

She evolved Kappatalize Fitness into Kappatalize Wellness in 2019, to focus on a more holistic approach to living each day mindfully, with a healthy mind and body.

Helen's programs include slow flow movement, restorative and yin yoga classes, mindful meditation classes, womens circles, workshops and retreats, and, mens mobility, flexibility and movement. 

Helen believes that we are all experiencing our lives through a never-ending journey.

We offer a suite of classes each week that range from Hatha Yoga, Yin & Restorative Yoga, Meditation and Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation) and Mens Only classes that are specifically designed for mens bodies

All of our classes are intentionally slower, focused on mindful movement and breathwork so we can attune to our bodies and minds, release stress and anxiety from our physical and emotional bodies. 

We offer 3 class free trials to those that wish to try our style, and all bookings are made via our App.
