The Story behind Kappatalize Wellness
Helen Reed’s journey and qualifications reflect her deep commitment to a holistic approach to health, well-being, and personal transformation. Kappatalize Wellness, which she founded in 2011, began as a fitness initiative, bringing holistic classes to the scenic parks and beaches of the St George and Sutherland Shire regions. Her early work focused on physical fitness as a Master Group Fitness Trainer, Personal Trainer, Nutrition and Health Coach, and change consultant, which later evolved to embrace a fuller spectrum of wellness.
Helen’s journey into mindfulness, yoga, and meditation began over 15 years ago, ignited by a personal struggle with anxiety and seasonal depression. Choosing a natural healing path over medication, she found peace and self-connection through mindfulness and meditation, which she studied under a Buddhist monk for three years. This led her to become a certified Yoga Teacher (200 YTT), Mindfulness and Meditation Certified Teacher, and a Tantra Embodiment Coach, culminating in a more profound integration of mind-body-soul practices.
In 2019, Helen rebranded Kappatalize Fitness to Kappatalize Wellness to reflect her expanded offerings, which now include slow flow movement, yin and restorative yoga, mindful meditation, women’s circles, workshops, and retreats. She also holds dedicated classes for men, focusing on mobility, flexibility, and movement. Central to Helen’s wellness approach are her sound healing sessions, where she uses instruments like singing bowls, Tibetan bowls, and drumming to foster deep healing and transformation. Her work with Kundalini activation offers clients a path to release energetic blockages and connect with their authentic selves.
Through mindful practices, Helen teaches balance, flow, calmness, and fluidity as essential tools for living an unapologetically authentic life. Her qualifications, which include 200 YTT, Mindfulness Certified Teacher, Meditation Certified Teacher, MSBR (Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction), Tantra Embodiment Coach, and Sound Energy Healer, serve as the foundation of Kappatalize Wellness, making it a space for holistic well-being and self-discovery.

We offer a suite of classes each week that range from Hatha Yoga, Yin & Restorative Yoga, Meditation and Yoga Nidra (sleep meditation) and Mens Only classes that are specifically designed for mens bodies
All of our classes are intentionally slower, focused on mindful movement and breathwork so we can attune to our bodies and minds, release stress and anxiety from our physical and emotional bodies.
We offer 3 class free trials to those that wish to try our style, and all bookings are made via our App.
